AUNT MADGES CHOCOLATE CAKE 
BRING TO BOIL:

1 c. water
3 tbsp. cocoa
1/2 c. oil
1/2 c. butter

Set pan aside.

MIX IN BOWL:

1 3/4 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1/2 c. cocoa
2 eggs
2/3 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla

Add boiled mixture. Bake 25 minutes at 350 degrees in prepared 14 x 19 inch pan. Spread icing on hot cake.

ICING:

1 stick butter, melted
1 lb. powdered sugar
1/3 c. cocoa
1/3 c. buttermilk
1 c. nuts

Beat first 4 ingredients and add nuts.
