FROSTED CASHEWS 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. sifted flour
3/4 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/3 c. sour cream
1 3/4 c. salted cashews (chopped)

Cream butter and sugar. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Add dry ingredients alternately with sour cream. Fold in nuts. Drop by teaspoon on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes.

FROST WITH:

1/2 c. butter
3 tbsp. cream
1/4 tsp. vanilla
2 c. powdered sugar

In pan lightly brown butter. Remove from stove and add cream and vanilla. Stir in powdered sugar. Frost cookies and put cashew nuts on top. This is an excellent holiday cookie.
