SQUASH AND BROCCOLI CASSEROLE 
2 pkg. broccoli
2 pkg. squash
1 stick butter
2 c. grated cheddar cheese
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/4 lb. crackers
4 slices crisply cooked bacon

Crumble half the crackers on bottom of casserole dish and cover with 1 cup grated cheese and 1/2 stick butter. Cook broccoli and squash separately. Do not drain off all the juices. Arrange broccoli in circles over squash and crumble 2 slices bacon over them. Crumble remaining crackers on top, grated cheese and butter. Bacon for top. Brown lightly. Bake at 350 degrees. Serves 8.
