GOOSEBERRY SALAD 
1 (#2) can undrained gooseberries

Beat to boiling with 1 cup sugar.

Combine: 1 (3 oz.) pkg. lemon Jello 2 c. boiling water

Add gooseberries.

When cool, add: 1 c. grated Cheddar cheese 1 c. diced celery

Refrigerate until set. Cut in squares and serve.
