BLONDIES 
2 1/4 c. flour (unsifted)
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
2 stick butter, softened
2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. pecans, chopped
1 c. flaked coconut

Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Mix in vanilla. Stir in flour, baking powder and salt until well blended. Fold in pecans and coconut until well blended. Spread batter into 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes, or until top springs back. Do not overbake.
