TURTLE COOKIES 
2 c. flour
1 c. brown sugar, packed
1/2 c. butter
1/2 to 1 c. pecans or walnut pieces
2/3 c. butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
12 oz. bag milk chocolate chips

Mix together first 3 ingredients and press into 15 x 10 x 1 rimmed cookie sheet, or a 13 x 9 x 2 cake pan. Sprinkle with 1/2 to 1 cup pecans or walnuts. In a saucepan, cook and stir over medium heat 2/3 cup butter and 1/2 cup brown sugar until bubbly. Let boil for 1 minute. Pour over pecans and crust. Bake for 18-22 minutes at 350 degrees. Remove from oven and sprinkle with 12 ounce milk chocolate chips. Wait a few minutes and spread the chips over the top. Cut when cool.
