MICROWAVE CHICKEN CORDON BLEU | |
4-6 chicken breast halves 2 tbsp. butter Salt & pepper to taste 1/4 c. cooked ham, slivered 3/4 c. water 1/4 c. dry white wine 1 env. gravy mix for chicken 1/4 c. Swiss cheese, shredded Melt butter in shallow baking dish. Arrange chicken, skin side up, in dish, turning to coat both sides with butter. Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste. Combine water, wine and gravy mix; pour over chicken. Cover with wax paper. Microwave cook on high 5 minutes. Stir sauce and rearrange the chicken in the pan. Cook, covered, 5 minutes longer. Sprinkle with ham and cheese. Cook, covered 2-3 minutes longer or until chicken is tender and well cooked. Makes 4-6 servings. |
