CHOCOLATE PECAN PIE 
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. pecan halves (chopped preferred)
2 eggs
2 sqs. unsweetened chocolate
1 tsp. vanilla
1 (9 inch) unbaked pie shell
1 c. dark corn syrup
1 tbsp. flour
1 tbsp. butter

Beat together sugar, syrup, salt, flour, and eggs. Melt butter and chocolate together; add vanilla and pecans to first mixture. Pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake in slow 300 degree oven for 50 to 60 minutes until filling is set. Cool and serve. Makes a 9 inch pie.
