AUSTRIAN TORTES 
1 c. butter
2 c. sifted powdered sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
4 squares unsweetened chocolate
4 eggs
1 c. vanilla wafer crumbs

Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add melted and cooled chocolate and vanilla. Continue beating and add eggs one at a time. Beat well after each egg. Sprinkle 1/2 crumbs in paper baking cups. Add filling and cover with remaining crumbs. Cover and freeze. Serve right from freezer or thaw for a few minutes.
