DELICIOUS TURKEY GUMBO 
My family loves it!

1 lb. ground turkey
1 onion
1 (8 oz.) sliced fresh mushrooms
1 or 2 sliced bell peppers (optional)
1 (12 oz.) bag Dutch egg noodles
1 (28 oz.) can crushed tomatoes (Hunts)

Chop onion and sauté with mushrooms and peppers in a buttery skillet. Brown turkey in a large skillet. Put the noodles on to boil as directed on package.

Combine the sautéed mushrooms, peppers and onion with the turkey and add crushed tomatoes, cover. Let simmer.

Add noodles and let simmer until the vegetables have been reduced and the noodles are pinkish in color from the tomatoes. Serve hot.

This recipe should feed 4-5 people.
