1/4 c. chopped dried beef
1 (4 oz.) pkg. shredded Cheddar cheese
1/4 c. mayonnaise
24 buttery round crackers

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Place dried beef in small bowl. Pour enough boiling water over beef to cover. Let stand 5 minutes then drain. In a medium sized bowl combine cheese, dried beef, and mayonnaise and blend well. Spread mixture generously on crackers. Bake 6 to 8 minutes, or until cheese is melted and lightly browned.
