1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. raisins (optional)
4 apples, cut up

Cream together first 3 ingredients. Add remainder of ingredients. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour in 9 x 13 inch pan.
