1 1/2 med. size head of cabbage, shredded 2 med. size carrots, shredded 1 med. size onion, shredded Mix together and sprinkle generously with salt. SAUCE: 1 1/2 c. mayonnaise 1/2 c. sour cream 1/2 c. vinegar 1/4 c. sugar (add slowly, you may not desire this much) Mix all together, then pour a little at a time over cabbage mixture, until thoroughly saturated. (It may not take all of the sauce, depending on the size of the cabbage. Any not used can be kept in the refrigerator at least 2 weeks. |
