HAROLD'S DELIGHT | |
9-12 slices day old white bread 1/2 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese 1/2 lb. Monterey Jack cheese 9-12 eggs 3 c. milk 1 tsp. salt 1 lb. ham, cubed Grease a 9x13 inch pan; cut crusts from bread and cube. Layer bread cubes in bottom of pan. Shred Cheddar cheese and place over bread. Slice Monterey Jack and lay over Cheddar cheese. Place eggs, milk and salt in blender and mix. Pour over bread and cheese in pan. Spread ham over the top and cover with foil. Let stand in refrigerator for at least 12 hours before baking. Take out at least 1/2 hour before baking to bring to room temperature. Place in preheated 350 degree oven for 50 minutes to 1 hour. Serves 6-8 people. |
