COCONUT CRISP COOKIES 
1 stick butter (1/2 c.)
1/2 c. white sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. oats
1 c. coconut

Cream butter and sugar; mixing well. Add egg and vanilla; beat until light and fluffy. Stir together flour, baking powder, soda and nutmeg. Add to creamed mixture; mix well. Stir in oats and coconut. Drop by teaspoonsful onto a baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes.
