24 HOUR SALAD 
1 head lettuce
1 head cauliflower
1 sweet Bermuda onion or 2 bunches spring onions
1 lb. bacon
1 pkg. frozen peas, uncooked
1 pt. Hellmann's mayonnaise
Parmesan cheese

1 lb. Plumrose ham, sliced in strips
1 lb. Cheddar or Swiss, sliced in strips

Cut up lettuce, cauliflower, onion. Cook bacon well, drain and crumbled on top. Add peas on top (uncooked). Spread mayonnaise over top as if icing a cake. Sprinkle generously with Parmesan cheese. Cover with Saran and refrigerate overnight. Before serving toss well. Then have ham and cheese in separate dish to be added by individuals.

This is great for a luncheon - you can do it all the day before - just serve sweet rolls or muffins with it. Serves 12 generously.
