RICE AND PORK CHOPS 
5 pork chops
5 slices onion
5 rings green pepper
1/2 c. water
1 c. uncooked rice
5 slices tomato
1 can consomme
Oregano

Brown pork chops in frying pan. Place uncooked rice in bottom of 9 x 13 inch baking pan. Put chops on top of rice and top each with 1 slice onion, 1 slice tomato, and 1 ring green pepper. Combine consomme, several dashes of oregano, and 1/2 cup water; pour over chops and rice. Cover pan with tin foil and bake at 350 degrees for 2 hours.
