BUTTERHORNS (DINNER ROLLS) 
1 pkg. yeast
1 tbsp. sugar

Mix. Beat in: 1 c. warm water

Let stand 15 minutes. Add: 1/2 c. shortening 1/2 tsp. salt 5 c. flour

Knead well. Let stand in refrigerator overnight. Divide into 2 parts and roll out in two 12 inch circles; cut each into 16 wedges. Roll up starting with the wide side. Let rise 3 to 4 hours.

Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes. Brush while warm with butter.
