TOLL HOUSE OATMEAL COOKIES 
3/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. soft butter/shortening
6 tbsp. brown sugar
6 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. water
1 egg
1 c. Quaker Oats
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips

Sift together flour, salt and soda; set aside. Blend butter, sugar, vanilla and water. Beat in egg; add flour mixture; mix well. Stir in oats and chocolate chips. Drop by teaspoon on greased sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes.
