BISCUITS FOR DIXIE FRIED CHICKEN 
1/3 c. melted butter and fat from frying chicken
2 c. all purpose flour
3/4 c. buttermilk
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda

Mix flour, baking powder and soda. Stir in butter and fat. Add buttermilk to make a stiff dough. Knead lightly. Roll out on floured board. Cut in to small rounds.

Bake for 20 minutes at 375°F.
