TRUFFLES 
12 oz. pkg. semi-sweet chips
3/4 c. sweetened condensed milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. cocoa or chopped nuts

Melt chocolate over low heat. Stir in condensed milk, vanilla and 1/8 teaspoon salt, until well mixed. Refrigerate mixture about 45 minutes or until cool and easy to shape. With buttered hands, shape mixture into 1-inch balls. Roll balls in cocoa or nuts. Makes about 3 dozen.
