RANGER COOKIES 
1 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. oatmeal
2 c. Rice Krispies
1 c. coconut

Cream shortening and sugars. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Sift flour, soda, and salt together; add. Stir in remaining ingredients. Roll in balls and flatten on lightly greased cookie sheet or drop by teaspoonful. Bake at 350 degrees about 20 minutes. Makes 5 dozen. If haven't time for breakfast, eat one of these.
