FROZEN BANANA SPLIT 
3 c. crushed Oreo cookies
3 to 4 bananas
1/2 gallon strawberry (or vanilla) ice cream
1 c. chopped nuts
6 oz. chocolate chips
1/2 c. butter
2 c. powdered sugar
1 1/2 c. (12 oz.) evaporated milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 pt. whipped cream

Cover bottom of 2 cake pans with crumbs, but save a little to sprinkle on top at the end. Slice bananas over crust. Spoon ice cream over that and sprinkle with nuts. Freeze firm. Melt chocolate chips and add butter, add powdered sugar and milk and cook until thick and smooth, add vanilla. Cool and spoon over ice cream and return pans to freezer. Later, cover with whip cream and leftover cookie crumbs. Serves 12 generously.
