1 pkg. yellow cake mix
1/3 c. brown sugar
1 (12 oz.) jar peanut butter (1 1/3 c.)
1/2 c. vegetable oil
1/4 c. water
1 egg

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Combine all ingredients and mix well. Shape into 1" balls. Place 2" apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Place a criss cross on each cookie with fork tines that you have dipped in water.

Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until light brown.

Cool on cookie sheet about 1 minute.

Makes 4 to 5 dozen.
