1 pkg. yellow cake mix
1/3 c. light brown sugar
1 1/2 c. peanut butter
1/2 c. Crisco oil
1/4 c. water
1 egg

Combine all ingredients and mix well. Shape into 1-inch balls. Place 2 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet. Place a criss-cross on each cookie with fork. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes until light brown. Makes about 4 to 5 dozen cookies.
