OLD FASHIONED BREAD PUDDING 
5 slices white bread

Trim crusts and butter.

Butter the baking bowl. 1 tsp. cinnamon 3 c. milk 2/3 c. sugar 4 eggs 1 tsp. vanilla

Sprinkle raisins in the bowl. Put the bread, butter side up, on raisins. Sprinkle cinnamon on the bread.

In a pan heat milk, sugar and vanilla until hot (not boiling). Remove from heat and add well beaten eggs until smooth. Pour over bread and raisins. Set in a pan of water and bake at 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes.
