FRENCH ONION SOUP 
5 lg. onions
1 bar sweet butter
2 tbsp. flour
8-10 c. water
Salt & pepper to taste
10 beef bouillon
2 tbsp. Bovril
5 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce

Melt butter. Cut up onions and saute until golden. Add flour until blended. Pour in water. Add salt and pepper. Let boil, add bouillon cubes and rest of ingredients. Simmer partly covered 1/2 hour, stirring occasionally. Place piece of Italian or French bread on bottom of a crock bowl with a thin slice of Mozzarella cheese and Swiss. Pour soup over and place under broiler until lightly brown and bubbly.
