CRUST CAKE 
1/2 c. Crisco
2 sticks butter
3 c. sugar
5 eggs
1 c. milk
3 1/2 c. plain flour
1 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. lemon flavoring
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring

Allow Crisco and butter to get to room temperature. Cream together. Add sugar. Add one egg at a time and beat. Add the rest of the ingredients and beat well. Pour into a greased and floured tube pan and bake at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. This can be put in three 8 or 9-inch pans or made into cupcakes but you must adjust the cooking time.
