ROCKY ROAD BROWNIES #1 
3 oz. unsweetened chocolate
1/2 c. butter
2 c. granulated sugar
4 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt

TOPPING:

3 tbsp. butter
1 c. (6 oz. pkg.) semi-sweet chocolate chips
2 c. miniature marshmallows
1/2 c. coarsely chopped walnuts

Melt chocolate and butter in saucepan over very low heat, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and stir in sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well and blend in vanilla. Combine flour and salt. Add to mixture and blend well. Spread batter in greased 9 inch square baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes. Cool in pan on rack for 10 minutes.

Meanwhile, melt butter and chocolate in saucepan for topping. Sprinkle brownies evenly with marshmallows and walnuts. Return to oven and bake for another 3 minutes. Drizzle with melted chocolate. Cool in pan. Cut in squares or rectangles. Serves 16. Calories: 337 each. Fat: 17 g. Cholesterol: 52 mg.
