2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. shortening
3 tbsp. cocoa
1 c. Coke
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. sm. marshmallows

Sift together sugar and flour. Bring to rapid boil the butter, shortening, cocoa, Coke and salt. Beat into dry ingredients the above Coke mixture after it reaches boiling. Add buttermilk, soda, eggs, vanilla and marshmallows. Mix well and then pour into a greased and floured 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake 45-50 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool cake before icing.

FROSTING:

1/2 c. butter
3 tbsp. cocoa
6 tbsp. Coke
1 box powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts

Mix and bring to boil the above ingredients. Remove from heat and add powdered sugar, vanilla and nuts. Beat until spreading consistency.
