FRUIT COMPOTE 
1 ripe cantaloupe, cubed
1 c. watermelon, cubed
1 lg. navel orange, sectioned
1 pink or red grapefruit, sectioned
1 c. fresh cherries, pitted and split
1/2 pt. strawberries, hulled and split
1/2 c. fresh blueberries or blackberries
1/2 c. fresh raspberries
1/2 c. orange liqueur
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. fresh orange juice
1 cinnamon stick
1/2 tsp. cardamom
1 c. yogurt

Place all fruit in a glass bowl. Toss gently. Add liqueur, sugar, orange juice, cinnamon, cardamom. Toss gently until all fruit are coated. Refrigerate 1 hour or more, stirring occasionally. Just before serving, add yogurt and toss gently. Yield: 4-6 servings.
