SPINACH SALAD 
Spinach
6 slices bacon, fried and chopped, reserve grease
1/2 c. sugar
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 c. red wine vinegar
1/4 c. bacon grease

Thoroughly wash and dry a bowl of spinach; chop. Add bacon. Combine sugar, cornstarch, salt, garlic powder, vinegar and bacon grease. Cook these ingredients until thickened, pour over spinach. Sprinkle with chopped, hard-boiled eggs.
