1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
2 eggs
2 c. applesauce (sm. can)
3 tbsp. cocoa
2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla

TOPPING:

1 c. chocolate chips
1 c. chopped nuts
3 tbsp. sugar

Cream the sugar, butter and eggs. Add the rest of the ingredients. Mix well for 2 minutes. Pour into 9"x13" greased pan. Sprinkle topping on top of batter. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes.
