ENCHILADA CASSEROLE 
1 lb. hamburger meat
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can chopped green chilies
Chopped onion
Sm. pkg. corn tortillas
Shredded cheese
Enchilada sauce (opt.)

Brown meat, seasoned to taste with chopped onion. Drain excess oil. Add soup and chilies. Finish cooking and simmer. Tear corn tortillas into pieces and soften them in hot oil. Do not allow to get crisp. In a casserole dish, place a layer of the softened tortillas, cover with a layer of the hamburger mixture and top with shredded cheese. Continue layering, end with cheese. Place in a 350 degree oven until cheese melts. If desired, top with enchilada sauce.
