1 Angel Food cake, slightly stale 1 sm. box vanilla pudding mix (to be cooked) 2 1/2 c. milk Black or red raspberry jam 4 oz. prepared whipped topping Deep (glass) bowl Use 2 1/2 cups milk to make a thin custard pudding, cooking according to package directions. Cool. Slice cake and use jam to make sandwiches. Break sandwiches into bite-size pieces and place a layer in bowl. Spoon enough pudding on to cover cake. Repeat layers (probably 2 times). Refrigerate overnight. Before serving, spread with whipped topping. |
