WILMA'S CHICKEN AND DUMPLINGS 
1 fat hen, whole or cut up
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. lard

Cook chicken until tender. Remove chicken from kettle, leaving broth. Pick chicken off bones.

Mix flour, salt and lard to make like a biscuit dough.

Put cut up chicken back into broth. Roll biscuit dough into little balls and drop back into broth. Cover broth then cover pot. Turn heat down. Cook until dumplings are cooked.
