2 tbsp. butter
1 box brown sugar
1 sm. carton whipping cream
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. pecans

Melt butter in heavy pan. Add sugar, vanilla and whipping cream. Using candy thermometer, cook to hard ball temperature, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat, stir in pecans. Drop by spoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet.
