DIANE'S STRAWBERRY MUFFINS 
1 1/2 c. sliced fresh strawberries
1 3/4 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
5 oz. cold corn oil
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 c. pecans, chopped

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Combine flour, sugar, cinnamon, salt and baking soda. Add oil and eggs. Blend lightly. Add nuts and strawberries. Blend until dry ingredients are just moistened. Put batter into greased muffin cups, filling them 2/3 full. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until done. Makes 1 dozen.
