STUFFED PEPPERS 
4 med. green peppers
2 c. cooked rice
1/4 c. chopped onion
2 lb. lean ground beef
1 c. grated cheese
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce, with mushrooms

Wash and half green peppers lengthwise. Remove seeds. Lightly mix beef, rice, onion, salt, pepper and 1/3 can tomato sauce. Pile into pepper halves. Top with cheese in a shallow baking dish. Pour remaining tomato sauce over peppers. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Serves 4-6 people.
