1 (15 oz.) pkg. Oreo cookies
1 stick butter
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 c. powdered sugar
1 large container Cool Whip
1 large box instant chocolate pudding

Crumble the cookies in a food chopper or blender. Melt the butter and mix with the crumbs. Press 1/2 of the crumbs into a 13 x 9 pan, reserving 1/2 crumbs for topping. Combine cream cheese and powdered sugar. Fold in 2 cups Cool Whip. Spread over crumbs. Chill in freezer. Prepare chocolate pudding using only 2 3/4 cups milk instead of 3. Spread pudding over the cream cheese layer and chill again. Top with remaining Cool Whip and sprinkle crumbs on top.
