HOPSCOTCH SCONES | |
1 c. flour 3 tbsp. soft butter 1/2 tsp. salt 1 1/2 tbsp. sugar 3 tsp. baking powder 1 egg 3 tbsp. milk 2 tbsp. raisins Cut butter into flour with pastry blender or fork until crumbly. Add salt, sugar and baking powder. Beat egg in small bowl, add milk. Add egg mixture to flour and mix gently. Add raisins. Drop dough from spoon onto buttered cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes. Serve with butter and jam if desired. May be doubled. |
