TUNA CASSEROLE | |
1 c. macaroni 1 tsp. salt 1/2 c. sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded 1/4 c. butter 3/4 c. milk 1/2 c. onion, chopped 1/4 c. celery, chopped 2 tbsp. butter 1 can cream of mushroom soup 1 (6 1/2 oz.) can tuna Add macaroni and salt to 1 quart boiling water. Boil 7-10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Drain and return to pan. Add butter, milk and cheese; mix well. Saute onion and celery in melted butter until tender. Add to macaroni with remaining ingredients; mix well. Pour into small casserole dish. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven 30 minutes. If desired, top with crushed potato chips before baking. |
