THE RITZ MEAT LOAF | |
1 c. Ritz crackers 1 c. milk 2 lbs. ground beef (lean) (or 1 1/2 lbs. beef & 1/2 lb. sausage) 1 1/2 pkgs. Lipton onion soup 1 sm. can tomato sauce 2 eggs, beaten 2 slices bacon Soak crackers in milk until soft, about 10 minutes. Mix together meat and soup. Add eggs and cracker mixture. Form into 2 loaves. Place loaves side by side in large casserole dish. Put one slice bacon on each loaf and pour tomato sauce over loaves before cooking. Cook 1 hour at 350 degrees, covered. |
