MEATLESS OATMEAL PATTIES 
1 c. cottage cheese
1 c. oatmeal
3/4 c. dry bread crumbs
4 eggs
1 lg. onion, chopped fine
1/8 tsp. sage
2 pkgs. George Washington seasoning and broth
Brewer's yeast flour
6 oz. grated cheese
1 can milk
1 can mushrooms

Form the ingredients into 2 1/2-3 inches in diameter patties - not too thick. Dip patties into Brewer's yeast flakes. (It gets messy on the fingers.) Fry in a little oil.

Place patties barely overlapped in a flat casserole dish. Cover with 6-ounces grated cheddar cheese. Mix 2 cans mushroom soup (diluted with 1 can milk and 1 can water) with 1 can mushrooms. Pour over patties and cover with foil. Bake about 45 minutes at 350 degrees or until good and bubbly.
