TARTAR ROLL | |
1 oz. butter 1/2 c. milk 1 egg yolk 9 oz. flour 1 tbsp. water FILLING: 6 stalks parsley 1 onion 17.5 oz. ground beef Salt and pepper 2 tbsp. paprika Flour Bread crumbs Dissolve butter in warm milk, add egg yolk and mix well. Put flour in bowl, add egg mixture and mix together, form a ball, sprinkle with 1 tablespoon water, cover and let stand for half hour at room temperature. Chop parsley and onion very fine and mix with ground beef. Add salt, pepper, and paprika. Roll out dough on 2-3 tablespoons flour to a rectangular form. Sprinkle with bread crumbs and cover evenly with meat mixture. Roll up the dough and moisten seams with water. Press together. With seam on bottom place the roll onto a greased baking pan. Brush the top of the roll with some oil. Heat oven to 350-390 degrees. Bake in preheated oven for 35 minutes. |
