2/3 c. butter 1 c. boiling water 1/2 c. sugar 1 c. All Bran 2 tsp. salt 2 eggs, beaten 2 pkgs. dry yeast 1 c. warm water 6 c. flour Pour boiling water over butter, sugar, All Bran and salt. Let butter and All Bran soften. Add eggs and yeast that has been softened in warm water. Add 1/2 of the flour and beat with electric mixer 2 minutes. Work in the remaining flour. Knead lightly. Let rise until doubled. Make into 3 loaves. Let rise until nearly doubled. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes until it sounds hollow. |
