GOLDEN GATE CHOW MEIN 
2 c. cooked cubed turkey or chicken (good for using leftover turkey or chicken)
1 c. sliced celery
1 med. onion, chopped
3 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tsp. monosodium glutamate
2 c. beef broth
3 tbsp. cornstarch
1 (3 oz.) can mushrooms, drained (reserve 1/4 c. liquid)
1 can Chinese vegetables
1 tbsp. brown gravy sauce

Simmer celery, onion, soy sauce, monosodium glutamate, broth and chicken or turkey. Simmer 30 minutes. Blend cornstarch and mushroom liquid. Add to vegetables and broth. Add mushrooms, vegetables and brown sauce. Simmer 1 minute. Serve over chow mein noodles or rice. Serves 8.
