GERMAN STYLE NOODLES AND SAUSAGE 
1 1/2 lb. loose sausage (I use a little hot sausage, too)
10 oz. pkg. noodles
1 lg. can sauerkraut, drained
Salt and pepper to taste

Brown sausage and drain fat. Cook noodles according to package directions. Alternate layers of noodles, sauerkraut and sausage in 3-quart casserole or 9x13 inch pan. Season to taste. Add water, if needed. (I use 1/4 cup.) Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or longer.
