6 whole canned peeled apricots, pitted
2 cups crushed ice
4 cups (1 quart) cranberry juice cocktail, chilled

Combine all ingredients in a blender and whirl at top speed for 30 seconds.

Pour mixture into tall glasses. Serve immediately with straws.

Suggested garnish: maraschino cherries.
