CHERRY SAUCE FOR HAM 
4 tsp. cornstarch
1/4 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. red food coloring
1/4 tsp. ground clove
1 (1 lb.) can sour pitted cherries

Combine cornstarch and cherry juice with sugar, salt and clove. Bring to boil and cook for 1/2 minute. Remove from fire and add food coloring and cherries. Yield: 2 1/2 cups.
